As a man in my early 60s, I struggle to get good quality sleep. Ashwagandha is an ancient medicinal herb classified as an adaptogen, meaning that it may help your body in managing stress and anxiety by regulating cortisol levels. In addition, it is claimed to give your brain a boost, lower blood sugar, and reduce depression and inflammation, etc. Since I suspect much of my sleep problem is due to anxiety and stress, I decided to give this a try. After a week or so of use, I believe this has helped.
